MSF depends on donations from individual donors to maintain our operations in more than 70 countries. In recent years, donations from people like you have enabled MSF to significantly expand funding for our programs: reaching more people in need, responding more quickly to emergencies, broadening the range of medical services we provide, and improving the quality of our interventions.

Our financial independence will continue to allow us to:

• Bring medical care to people affected by conflict, disasters, epidemics, and social exclusion
• Intervene quickly, particularly in emergency situations, without waiting for political actors or the media to mobilize.
• Decline government funding that may compromise our ability to implement effective programs.
• Commit resources and teams to innovative projects to improve the lives of those individuals we aid, and demonstrate their appropriateness in specific interventions.

When supporting Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), please remember you are representing and affiliating yourself with a global medical humanitarian organization. Therefore, we kindly ask you to follow a few simple rules:

• MSF requires that all fundraisers and streams related to video games do not dilute or harm MSF’s brand and reputation. We ask that you take into consideration our principles as a humanitarian aid organization.
• MSF will not consider fundraising activities from video games rated “Adults Only” by the Entertainment Software Ratings Board (ESRB).
• Campaigns which feature media other than games will be evaluated on similar criteria.
• Streams for MSF are prohibited from including:
  • Content that is racist, misogynistic, discriminatory, or explicitly sexual
  • The display or use of illegal substances or paraphernalia
  • The intoxication of streamers during the stream

Video games with ratings of “Everyone,” “Everyone 10+,” and “Teen” are deemed appropriate for individuals to play as fundraisers for MSF.

Video games rated “Mature” are acceptable as long as you follow Twitch, YouTube, or TikTok’s guidelines.

“Adults Only” games are not acceptable for an MSF fundraiser.

All of the donations raised on Tiltify go directly to MSF so you do not need to worry about sending any funds raised to us. Your donors will immediately receive their receipt which can be used for tax purposes.
