Monica Dhand completed medical school at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia.  She worked with a medical NGO in El Salvador before starting Internal Medicine Residency at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans.  She completed a Chief Residency at Tulane in 2012 and joined MSF immediately after graduation.  Monica has worked in a variety of MSF projects in South America, South Asia and East Africa.  She currently works as an Academic Hospitalist at Tulane University School of Medicine.  Monica was elected to the MSF USA Board in 2023.
