Eamon Penney has spent a dozen years coordinating health interventions in complex humanitarian settings. He began his career with MSF as a logistician, completing two assignments in South Sudan. Later he served as an advocacy manager and project coordinator in Rakhine State, Myanmar, where MSF has been responding to the health needs of the Rohingya population for over a decade. Eamon has also held numerous roles in MSF’s New York office and worked for peer organizations such as Partners In Health. He received his master’s in public health from Columbia University in 2017, where his work on epidemiological methods in humanitarian emergencies led him to lead research in Democratic Republic of Congo. He currently works in digital health innovation and serves on the board of Dorchester Food Coop in Boston, MA. Eamon was elected to the MSF Board of Directors in 2024.
